Contact Student Support & Advising

We understand that you may have questions and concerns about how the labour disruption may impact you as a student. The University’s top priority is to continue supporting you and your learning. For information regarding campus access, resources and more, please consult theFAQs page. We also encourage you to access well-being resources available to you.

For the most current information regarding the labour disruption, please visit York’s labour disruption website. Students will be able to find information about the status of their courses on the Course Status website and eClass.

York University will provide important information and updates as they become available. Students can also visit the Study Permit FAQs for more information and ongoing updates. FAQs

Confirmation of Enrolment for Winter 2024 OSAP is taking place from December 18-December 21 and will resume January 3, 2024. There is no need to follow-up until after January 10, 2024.

If you have submitted your OSAP application with required documents by July 25 for Fall/Winter applications or November 21 for Winter only applications and do not receive your funding by the payment due date of January 10, interest will be deferred on the outstanding balance for the month of January (interest charges will resume in February if unpaid).

Visit the OSAP Important Dates page for more information.

OSAP funding will be released between January 3, 2023 and January 10, 2023, if you applied before July 25 (Fall and Winter) or November 21 (Winter only) and all documentation has been approved. Please ensure you are enrolled in a full-time/part-time course loads, respective to your application, to avoid delays in receiving your funds.

If you applied after July 25, you can expect to receive funding by late September or early October. Log in to your OSAP account to check the status of your application.

Fees for the fall term are due on January 10. Visit our webpage about how and when to pay through your student account.

If you are a first-year student and paid the $300 registration deposit, you will not be de-enrolled from classes should you miss the “Minimum Payment due by” date.

However, you will accumulate interest charges on your student account.

To avoid this situation, we recommend reading the Understand Your Statement webpage.

If you do not remember your Passport York username or password you can reset your Passport York username or password using one of the options provided on the Passport York Password Reset web page.

Spaces in the course may be reserved or restricted.

To request permission to join the course or to be added to the waitlist, you will need to contact the department that is offering the course. You can use the Course Contact Directory or the York Directory tool to find departmental contact information.
